CEO and Founder
Who are we?
Sidney’s Angel Network, LLC was founded in 2020 in Savannah, Georgia. The company is named after Sidney Johnson Owens. For two years, Sidney lived independently in the community in low-income senior housing. Unfortunately, a series of hospitalizations prevented him from living on his own.
In January 2017, Sidney became a resident of a nursing home, where he remained until his death on March 2, 2019. While in the nursing home, Sidney’s niece noticed that several residents had no family members to check on them. If they had family members, they lived out of town.
Meanwhile, she began to investigate similar issues in the community. Like the nursing home, she found that several elderly and disabled adults were living in the community with no family members close by. Adult children or legal representatives were either working long hours or living in another city.
Of course, you would prefer to relocate your aging and disabled loved ones closer to you. However, your loved ones do not want to leave home. Thus, the idea of a network of angels conducting health and wellness visits on behalf of a family member, guardian, or legal representative was created.
Where are we located?
Sidney’s Angel Network is located in the beautiful City of Savannah, GA.
What do we do?
We believe in honoring the independence and dignity of older and disabled individuals—especially those who choose to remain in the comfort of their own homes.
For many, home is more than a place—it’s a source of peace, familiarity, and connection. Our dedicated network of caregivers, lovingly referred to as “angels,” provides nonemergency health and welfare visits tailored to individual needs. Whether daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly, our support is consistent, discreet, and reassuring.
Please note: In the event of an emergency, we recommend contacting your local police department. If you suspect neglect or abuse, we recommend contacting Adult Protective Services (APS) or a local Ombudsman for assistance.
